After that the tuna is put into tins, with the addition of pure olive oil and a pinch of salt. No preservatives or artificial flavourings of any kind are included. This explains why RIO MARE tuna is a healthy and natural food – rich in phosphorous; full of easily-assimilated proteins; and well provided with unsaturated fatty acids (which help to combat cholesterol).
